Any Active Rpgs out there?

I think that title pretty much sums it up. I don't know why, but I really want to write with some old characters. (Just one in particular--for closure purposes I guess.) It's been a couple years, and I feel a little rusty and completely out of the loop. I guess that tends to happen when life pulls you away. I've been combing around the internet and it almost feels like this trend of play by posting is dying. I know most of my old stomping grounds are a tad dusty. Devious Journal Entry

I got the job! I got the Job! I got the job! Did I say I got the job?!  Freaking yay! I'm now the "Online Editor" of the school's news paper. I'll be prepping articles for online viewing, manning their WordPress, Facebook and twitter accounts. And I can't wait to start. Too bad they don't have funding furring the summer. Who knew I'd be so tickled for minimum wage. Taking a trip up to the potato hills. I'm gonna try to remember my camera. We'll see how that works out.

Put writing to the side? Here's my answer to that.

I've always wrote. I was the child who gave Lisa Frank more abuse than the products were worthy of. I was the kleptomaniac of pens and pencils. The far away looks were taking me somewhere, and writing it down was the only way I could ever explain. Now as an adult I've become accustomed to hostage situations with my mind and the world that haunts me every second of the day. There's no way to push these thoughts to the wayside. They arise unbidden. All it takes is the right set of notes and I'm sent there.  I've peeled myself out of bed to write things down. Creativity doesn't come with a manual. It doesn't have an off switch. I can't just turn
